It is no secret that Roma are interested in Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham. The Roman club are working on a deal for the 23-year-old striker as Edin Dzeko’s departure to Inter is imminent.
Earlier today Thomas Tuchel addressed the media ahead of the UEFA Super Cup clash with Villareal. The Chelsea manager spoke of Tammy Abraham and his desire to play consistent minutes elsewhere.
“Tammy is in the squad, he did some good preparation matches. He was clearly not happy with the last half a year and maybe he has a reason to be happy and maybe it was my fault for not trusting him as much as others.”
When asked whether Chelsea are considering bids for Abraham, he said:
“He is one of the players where we will constantly evaluate the situation.”
Arsenal are also in the race to sign the 23-year-old attacker. Roma reportedly want to secure his signing before letting Edin Dzeko fly out to Milan to undergo his medical with Inter.
