Roma continue being linked with out-of-favor Chelsea man Trevoh Chalobah.
The 24-year-old defender is among the several names to be linked with a potential move to the Italian capital as the Giallorossi’s search for an additional defensive reinforcement continues.
Roma need to secure a replacement of Chris Smalling ahead of January given the veteran’s recent injury woes.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are one of the clubs to have made inquiries for Chalobah.
In fact, Chalobah’s own injury has forced him out of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad, failing to collect a single appearance thus far this season.
The newspaper suggests Chelsea are reportedly open to letting Chalobah leave on loan in January: the chances of seeing him leave permanently are slim given his condition and contract which is valid until 2028.
