Federico Chiesa is yet to make a decision on his own future as rumors linking with a move to Roma have begun to fade.

The Italian winger is coming off a disappointing season and an even more disappointing Euro’s tournament with Luciano Spalletti’s national team.

In recent weeks much has been said about Chiesa’s future and the possibility of seeing him in Giallorossi colors.

However, Corriere dello Sport writes that Chiesa’s contractual demands of over 6 million euros net per season have scared off most of the clubs interested in him, including Roma.

Moreover, the player is said to not be totally sold on Roma’s project despite a positive rapport with Daniele De Rossi.

In his decision, Chiesa wants to make sure that the next team he selects in his career will be ready to put him front and center as the face of the club.

With time trickling away, Chiesa continues to wait for a convincing offer to come along.
