The Romanian coach praised his team’s performance against “a great team”: “I’ll start with the second half. What I had to say about the first half I said at halftime and it remains in the dressing room between me and the players.”
“In the second half, in terms of attitude, determination, quality and personality, we played a great match against a great team. We knew what Roma represented.”
“It was a good match, in the second half we brought out something more than at the start of the season. I’d start from that. We’ll work to iron out certain things that remain between me and them. It was a good match, against a strong team and on a pitch where it’s not easy to play.”
