Chris Smalling arrives in Rome


RomaPress (Ciampino Airport) – Chris Smalling has arrived in Rome and is ready to join Roma. The 29 year-old touched down at Ciampino Airport just before 12.45 CET this afternoon ahead of his season-long loan move to the Giallorossi. The Englishman is the latest reinforcement of sporting director Gianluca Petrachi, who paid nearly €3 million for the services of the defender. Smalling will now go to Villa Stuart to undergo his medical examination before signing his contract with the Giallorossi.
