Chris Smalling is at serious risk of missing the upcoming Europa League semi-final with Bayer Leverkusen.
The English defender suffered a painful muscular injury to his thigh flexor and is expected to miss around three weeks of action.
According to Corriere della Sera, Smalling could end up missing the entire tie with Leverkusen which could put Roma’s chances of qualifying for the Europa League final at risk.
In his absence, Diego Llorente is expected to feature in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven.
