Good news for Jose Mourinho as Chris Smalling looks to make full recovery following a brief injury scare in the aftermath of last night’s friendly win over Casa Pia.
The English defender had reportedly limped back to the dressing room at fulltime with a painful ankle.
However, Corriere dello Sport reports that the injury is not serious: the player only suffered a knock to the ankle and is expected to return at Mourinho’s disposal for the remainder of Roma’s training camp in Algarve, Portugal.
