It has been a rough year and a half for Chris Smalling. The Englishman, after playing a good preseason under Jose Mourinho, picked up two consecutive injuries that held him sidelined for the past few weeks.
According to Sky Sport, Roma will not be able to count on the veteran defender until the end of November.
The club are reportedly hoping to have him back for Genoa-Roma at the Marassi stadium on November 21st.
Thus, Smalling will continue training individually for the time being, and will be reintegrated with the rest of the team following the international break in mid-November.
