Roma are working to increase the likelihood of Chris Smalling’s availability for the upcoming Europa League semifinal.
The team’s defensive leader has been sidelined with an injury for the past few games and hopes to recover in time for the first leg against Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Il Messaggero, Smalling wants to at least feature in the return leg in Germany.
