Chris Smalling is eager to return to the pitch after earning his first call-up since September for last night’s match with Inter Milan.
After sitting on the bench throughout Roma’s defeat to Inter, Smalling was back on the training pitch today with the rest of his teammates.
The English defender is now regularly taking part in group training drills and is expected to make his long-awaited comeback in the upcoming Europa League playoffs with Feyenoord.
