Chris Smalling remains out after suffering a muscle injury during the first international break of the season.
The English defender has missed the past few weeks with an injury, forcing him to be dropped from Mourinho’s starting eleven with Evan Ndicka slotting in as his replacement.
Smalling is steadily improving but Mourinho and his staff will not risk him in the upcoming match with Genoa.
According to Il Tempo, Smalling will be excluded once again from Roma’s squad list for the trip to the Marassi where the Giallorossi are set to face Genoa on Wednesday night.
