Roma defender Chris Smalling rallied the troops ahead of tonight’s showdown at the San Siro with Inter. The Englishman looked back on the convincing aspects of Roma’s performance with Atalanta and previewed his match-up with former teammate Edin Dzeko.
“I think we played really well with Atalanta, we created several chances, but sometimes that’s how football works,” he told DAZN before tonight’s kick-off.
“We worked hard to prepare for tonight and we want the three points,” Smalling added.
“Dzeko? I know him well enough, it’s going to be a fun game.”
