Roma defender Chris Smalling will not be travelling with the rest of the team to Cremona this coming weekend.
The Englishman earned his fifth yellow card of the season in the match against Hellas Verona on Sunday night and has therefore been suspended by the Sporting Judge for the upcoming Serie A matchday with Cremonese.
Smalling is likely to be replaced by Marash Kumbulla, but Roma’s January signing Diego Llorente could also be given the chance to start for the first time since his loan move from Leeds.
