Chris Smalling will continue to start for Roma after making his first starting appearance since September on Monday versus Torino.
The Englishman has reportedly fully recovered from the knee injury that had sidelined him for almost six months.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Smalling will resume his regular appearance in Roma’s starting formation and will continue to do so for the remainder of the season.
Daniele De Rossi considers him a pivotal player in his line-up and wants to utilize him alongside Evan Ndicka and Gianluca Mancini.
