The agent of Chris Smalling touched down in Italy to meet with Roma for the player’s contractual situation.
Only a few months away from free agency, James Featherstone – Smalling’s agent – is in talks for the defender’s new long-term deal with the Giallorossi.
As revealed by Featherstone himself in his Instagram stories, the agent was at Trigoria earlier today where he likely met with General Manager Tiago Pinto to carry forward discussions regarding Smalling’s long-awaited renewal.
The player is yet to respond to the club’s latest proposal after being targeted by the likes of Inter ahead of the summer window.
