Chris Smalling’s agent offers him to Inter

Inter are eyeing a summer move for Roma defender Chris Smalling.

The future of the veteran defender remains uncertain as the player draws nearer to the expiry of his contract with Roma.

The Englishman holds a unilateral option to extend his stay in the Italian capital for an additional year, but Smalling is yet to make a decision regarding his own future.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Smalling’s agent – James Featherstone – has proposed the player’s services to Inter who are reportedly interested in the 33-year-old and would be willing to offer him a two-year contract similar to the one they proposed Henrikh Mkhitaryan at the end of last season.
