Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen – currently away on international duty in Qatar with his national team – had high praise for Roma legend Francesco Totti.
The ex-Tottenham man revealed in a recent interview his admiration for the legendary Roma captain and his impact on Eriksen’s style of play.
“Growing up I had two idols,” Eriksen told Manchester United. “Francesco Totti was one of them because I used him in Football Manager and then, later, it was Laudrup. Michael Laudrup, the only one. Just because he was Danish and I liked his style.”
