Former Roma defender Christian Panucci shared his excitement over Daniele De Rossi’s start to life as the Giallorossi head coach.
During the event EA7 World Legends Padel Tour in Barcelona, Panucci was asked about De Rossi’s positive streak since his appointment in January following Jose Mourinho’s dismissal from the Italian capital.
“I’m very happy, he’s primarily a Roma fan, he’s doing well and deserves to go to the Champions League, he’s an exceptional lad,” said Panucci of his former teammate.
“I am convinced that he will do a great job and has already given the group a strong team spirit, a different idea of football, and the team is responding well. I am very happy for him on a personal level.”
