Despite initial reports suggesting that Lazio striker Ciro Immobile may only be back in 2023 following an injury suffered in the Biancocelesti’s scoreless draw with Udinese a week ago, the Italian attacker may attempt a ‘miraculous’ recovery for the Derby della Capitale scheduled on November 6.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Immobile wants to make himself available to Maurizio Sarri at all costs for the highly anticipated derby.
Tests carried out last week indicated a recovery timeline of around 45 days but Lazio’s medical staff are intent on getting Immobile back into the derby’s starting line-up.
