Former Roma manager Claudio Ranieri was briefly interviewed ahead of the upcoming derby.
The Derby della Capitale always presents itself as an occasion for former players, managers and directors to express their opinion on the season under-way or send a message of support to the team for a match that in the capital is considered the most important of all.
Ranieri spoke to Il Messaggero and reconfirmed his faith as an avid Giallorossi fan, “I am a Roma supporter, and so I can only wish Mourinho the best for this match and in general.”
The ex-Leicester boss added, “I am also thinking of Sampdoria at the moment, as I left a piece of my heart there during my time in Genova.”
