Former Roma manager Claudio Ranieri came to the Giallorossi’s defence when asked about Mourinho’s recent string of disappointing results in the league.
“Roma are a great club with a very good ownership, Ranieri told reporters before attending a book event in the capital, as reported by VoceGiallorossa.
“Mourinho is a great coach. Rome wasn’t built in one day. This ownership needs time, because once they’re allowed to do the transfer business they want to do, I’m convinced they’ll do very well.”
