Claudio Ranieri on Roma’s Conference League campaign: “I’ll cheer for the Giallorossi.”

Former Roma manager Claudio Ranieri is also famously a Roma supporter, and the latest interview by Gazzetta dello Sport further confirms this.

Ranieri – who recently concluded an unsuccessful spell at Watford – was asked by the Italian newspaper what team he would cheer for in case a Conference League semifinal were to take place between Roma and Leceister City, two former clubs of his.

The 70-year-old boss did not hesitate.

His reply was simple and straightforward, “Well, it’s obvious: I am and always will be Roman and a Romanista.”
