Roma manager Claudio Ranieri answered questions from Sky Sport a few minutes prior to kick-off vs Eintracht Frankfurt.
The veteran technician discussed his selected starting eleven for the night.
“Pellegrini starts tonight because he’s an important player with lots of quality who can make the difference,” said Ranieri.
“I count a lot on the experienced players. I wanted to field the strongest line-up.”
“Tonight we play for a lot, and it’s up to us to handle it. The fans are magnificent, we have to give our best for them.”
“Eintracht are good at defending and counterattacking. We’ve had difficulties in dealing with similar opponents but we will try to give our all.”
