Former Roma manager Claudio Ranieri discussed this year’s new Serie A season.

While speaking to La Repubblica, Ranieri discussed, among other things, Roma’s new look for this campaign.

“Roma are a new team – they have had to adjust a lot,” said Ranieri, who retired from club football at the end of last season.

“De Rossi has already shown that he knows how to be a guide to his players, he knows how to put ideas on the pitch – not just heart and guts. And in any case, his passion helps a lot.”

“I have traveled a lot and in addition to Roma, which is my team as a child, I carry Cagliari in my heart, and Cagliari: I loved and love everything about that team and this love has helped me in these last two years, because no one more than he who loves wants the good of the beloved.”
