Leonardo Spinazzola’s season has come to an end.
The Italian fullback has been ruled out of action for the remainder of the season after sustaining an injury in Roma’s recent draw with Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday night.
After coming off in the 21st minute of Bayer Leverkusen-Roma due to an injury, the left winger underwent tests at Trigoria today which revealed injury to his right thigh flexor.
The injury would typically require over two weeks of recovery. However, Roma’s season ends in 15 days which makes it unlikely that Spinazzola will be able to play again for the Giallorossi.
