For the third consecutive summer, Roma’s Edin Dzeko finds himself at the center of transfer discussions for a potential move away from the club.
Inter are eyeing the Bosnian as a potential replacement for outgoing striker Romelu Lukaku, who is closing in on a return to Chelsea.
The Nerazzurri have been in talks with Dzeko’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, over the past few days regarding a move to Milano. But according to SportItalia, contact between the parties has intensified this evening.
Simone Inzaghi’s side is willing to offer the striker a two-year deal worth €4 million plus bonuses per season, however, the deal would likely only come to fruition if Roma allow Dzeko to leave for free.
The former City man isn’t the only option, though. The club is also considering a move for Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata as Lukaku’s heir.
