It seems that Borja Mayoral has his mind set on joining Vincenzo Italiano’s Fiorentina.
According to La Nazione, the Spanish striker and the Viola have been in contact since earlier in the summer. The player is keen on the Tuscan side as he wants more playing time.
Mayoral’s parent club, Real Madrid, are working with Fiorentina on securing the attacker’s transfer.
However, Mayoral wants the eventual loan to be have an obligation, something which Fiorentina nor Roma have emphasized in their respective offers.
All signs point to the Spaniard leaving the Italian capital: if not already in January, then at the end of his loan spell in June 2022.
