Roma are working on a shocking transfer involving Belgian attacker Romelu Lukaku.

As suggested by earlier reports, Lukaku is increasingly becoming a concrete opportunity for Roma who seek additional reinforcements before the transfer deadline.

Following Lukaku’s withdrawal from talks with Inter and the recent collapse of negotiations with Juventus, Roma are now seriously being considered as a viable option for the Chelsea striker.

According to Italian journalist Augusto Ciardi, Roma head coach Jose Mourinho has spoken to Lukaku about the possibility of reuniting in the Italian capital.

In the meantime, Chelsea have opened to the idea of letting Lukaku leave on Roma. English media claim Roma are now favorites to land Lukaku on a temporary deal.
