Roma manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly reached out to PSG midfielder Marco Verratti.
According to Corriere della Sera, the Roma technician personally phoned Verratti in an attempt to lure him to the Italian capital.
Roma could utilise their good relations with PSG to their advantage in an eventual deal for the ex-Pescara man.
The Italian midfielder could be signed on loan, similarly to Gini Wijnaldum last season, although his considerable salary would pose an issue for the Giallorossi.
