Rumors of Roma willing to bring in an additional reinforcement for the midfield inevitably point towards one of Roma’s current midfielders exiting the club in the coming days.
Two names have been reportedly put on the market: Amadou Diawara and Gonzalo Villar.
The latter, according to Il Tempo, is liked by Sassuolo. So much so that the Italian newspaper reports that the Neroverdi are in close contact with Gonzalo Villar’s entourage.
Alessio Dionisi’s side are currently looking to understand the costs and feasibility of such an operation.
With Villar potentially on his way out, Roma would consider adding a midfielder that fits more Mourinho’s playing style.
