In an exclusive interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Antonio Conte discussed his future and revealed he will not become the new manager of Roma this summer. These are his words:
The Roma fans dream of Totti as president and Conte as manager. Will it remain a dream?
I fell in love with Rome during my two years as the national team manager. When you’re at the Olimpico, you feel the passion of these people who experience football with a particular intensity and are out of their minds for Roma. They live for Roma. It’s a very passionate environment that envelops you. Right now the conditions aren’t there, but I think one day I’ll manage Roma sooner or later.
