Roma’s quest for their tenth Coppa Italia title and “stella d’argento” (silver star) officially kicks-off this evening versus Lecce.

The Giallorossi face-off against the Serie B side tonight at the Stadio Olimpico in the Coppa Italia round of sixteen. The winner of tonight’s clash will advance to the quarterfinals of the competition and face Inter, who defeated Empoli yesterday.

The Coppa Italia represents the last major trophy won by Roma, which occurred almost fifteen years ago in 2008. Manager José Mourinho is expected to place an important emphasis on the competition as he looks to break the club’s trophy drought.

The two sides kick-off at 21.00 CET in Rome.
