Courtois: “Roma? An important match.”

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois spoke to the club’s official website and mentioned the mid-week clash against Roma. These are his words:

“The loss to Crystal Palace? We had some injuries, we missed some important players but that doesn’t explain everything. We weren’t intense enough. Not at our best level. Call it an off day. We just have to keep on working. We have an important match on Wednesday against AS Roma and some important ones after too. The international break is no excuse. We wanted to win against Palace to stay in touch with the top teams. We have to make sure we start our next games better than we did on Saturday.”
