Cremonese boss Massimiliano Alvini welcomes addition of Felix from Roma

Felix Afena-Gyan claps

Speaking ahead of his team’s league clash against Inter, Cremonese manager Massimiliano Alvini reacted to the club’s transfer acquisition of Roma attacker Felix Afena-Gyan.

The newly promoted side splashed nearly €10 million (including bonuses) to purchase the youngster from the Giallorossi in a permanent deal, which will be made official in the coming hours.

“Felix is a youngster who’s made himself completely available to the team,” explained Alvini.

“He needs to grow and continue the maturation process and we plan on helping him in this regard. Certainly he’s a player we admire that will hopefully become an asset for the club.”

Felix exits the Italian capital less than 18 months since his arrival from EurAfrica FC in March 2021. He ends his tenure with 22 appearances and 2 goals to his name in all competitions.
