Cremonese advance to the Coppa Italia semifinal after delivering an impressive performance at the Stadio Olimpico to beat Jose Mourinho’s men 2-1.
Their captain, Matteo Bianchetti, sounded proud of his side’s achievement in what is a landmark moment for the Grigiorossi.
“To be able to beat Napoli and Roma is a beautiful thing,” he told reporters after the match. “We must try and carry over the enthusiasm to our league campaign.”
“It’s great to advance to the next round after so many years, we have plenty to be proud of tonight,” he said.
