Cremonese defender Emanuele Valeri applauds his team’s attitude in loss to Roma

Cremonese left back Emanuele Valeri appeared on the club’s official television channel following his team’s 1-0 loss this evening against Roma.

Despite their second consecutive loss, the defender applauded his side for the attitude they displayed against the Giallorossi, nearly equalising in the final seconds.

“We played this match with the right attitude,” he said. “The entire team did what the manager asked and played this game with the right approach and perspective.”

He continued, “It was a good performance even though we didn’t get a result. It’s crucial that we pick up where we left off from tonight when we face Torino.”

“We showed very clear ideas tonight against Roma. I hope we’ll have a bit more luck in the next game and we’ll be rewarded for our efforts. It’s crucial we start gathering points in our goal to avoid relegation.”
