Cremonese fullback Leonardo Sernicola admitted tonight’s home showdown against Roma will be a difficult one for his side.
In search of their first league victory, the Grigiorossi host Jose Mourinho’s men at the Stadio Giovanni Zini this evening in round 24 of Serie A.
It’s the first time the two teams meet since Davide Ballardini’s side shocked Roma in the Coppa Italia, knocking them out of the competition earlier this month.
“Roma are a great team,” Sernicola explained to DAZN.
“They’ve got so many strengths in addition to several talented individuals. However, we’ll use our intensity to try and create problems for them.”
Finally, “Luckily we’re playing at home this evening in front of our supporters and we want to play a good game for them.”
