Tensions were high in Roma’s dressing room last night at the Artemio Franchi in Florence with Cristante and Mancini at the center of it.
The Giallorossi went into the locker room at half-time down 3-1 to Palladino’s team.
Juric tried to straighten things out by making some changes, but the hosts still took the lead in the second half, winning 5-1.
According to Corriere dello Sport, two players in particular, Cristante and Mancini (the first substituted after half an hour, the second at half-time) decided not to sit on the bench to follow the second half with the rest of the team after a harsh exchange of words with coach Ivan Juric.
Juric’s job is now reportedly on the line as the Croatian technician was unable to deliver the expected results following his appointment in September.
