Roma midfielder and vice-captain Bryan Cristante reacted to tonight’s defeat to Milan.
Following an evening that once again saw the Giallorossi showcase an underwhelming performance, Cristante discussed the importance of the international break.
“The difficult start to the season? Episodes make all the difference. In many games we deserved to suffer and we didn’t, now we have conceded 8 shots on goal which resulted in 6 goals conceded,” Cristante said in his post-match interview with DAZN.
“We must use this international break to rearrange our ideas. After the break, we must absolutely start gaining points.”
“In the first two games we created a lot but were unlucky. Today we didn’t as much we could have, we could have done better but a lot of episodes didn’t go our way. We had to do something more and score points.”
“Today was a difficult game because we didn’t hold the ball,” he added.
“Mourinho angry? We all are. Nobody’s happy when we lose,” he continued. “Matic? We didn’t know that he was leaving until the last moment. He wanted to go and his wish was granted.”
“We have no excuses going forward. We must win and score as many points as possible after the break.”
