Bryan Cristante was back on the score sheet tonight as he helped lead Roma to a swift 4-0 win over Monza.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, the midfielder responded to his critics and discussed Ranieri’s impact.
“It’s never easy, but tonight we were focused and we played a great match,” he said.
“Winning helps you win, we knew we were strong but for various reasons we couldn’t,” he added.
“Ranieri calmly and with experience brought us back to where we needed to be.”
“My improvement? I remained silent and continued to work. I’m made like this. Little talk and a lot of work, and then the results pay off.”
