Cristante, Shomurodov fly to Portugal to join Roma’s preseason

Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante returned from his holiday following Italy’s triumph in Euro 2020.

The Italian was accompanied by new acquisition Eldor Shomurodov this late this afternoon at Fiumicino Airport in order to join their teammates in Portugal.

Shomurodov is ready to begin his new footballing chapter with the Giallorossi, who agreed to a deal with Genoa in the middle of last week.

The 26 year-old Uzbekistan international joins Roma on a loan with an obligation to buy worth a total of €20 million.

The duo have already landed in Faro and will partake in their first training sessions with new manager Jose Mourinho tomorrow.
