Cristante wants to stay at Roma

Andy Mattioli

Despite drawing interest from several clubs, in Italy and abroad, Bryan Cristante’s priority is to remain at Roma for years to come.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, negotiations over a contract renewal have not taken place yet.

The capital club are in no hurry to satisfy the player’s agent’s demands given that Cristante’s contract is set to expire in 2024.

The Italian midfielder’s intention is to stay at Roma, and obtain – along the way – a salary bump that would help him earn around €3 million.

The Giallorossi are expected to discuss these aspects once the season comes to an end, with the awareness that Cristante is being monitored by the likes of Milan and Juventus.
