Finally, they’re free. The Curva Sud has been liberated.
The barriers and glass partitions that have occupied the Curva Sud and Curva Nord at the Stadio Olimpico for well over a year have finally been removed. After months of talks, Roma have been successful in convincing the city and police that the barriers must be removed.
The barriers have been removed in time for this week’s Coppa Italia fixture against Lazio.
