Roma pull out of Dan-Axel Zagadou talks

While Roma continue to evaluate various names for Jose Mourinho’s defense, the capital club have reportedly scrapped one of the names on their shopping list.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have decided to pull out of the race for Dan-Axel Zagadou. The former Borussia Dortmund man has failed to convince the club based on his physical condition.

Moreover, the Italian newspaper claims that the Giallorossi were thrown off by the player’s demands.

Earlier reports suggested the capital club were engaged in talks with Zagadou’s entourage. However, their demands ultimately were not accepted by Roma.

Now, the Giallorossi are reportedly focusing on free agent Jason Denayer who remains available after leaving Lyon in the summer.
