RomaPress – AS Roma is ready to be passed into the hands of Dan Friedkin, the CEO of The Friedkin Group.
The American, who arrived in Milano nearly three weeks ago, touched down in the Eternal City over the weekend to complete his acquisition of the Giallorossi. The deal is in the closing stages after his legal team completed the due diligence of the nearly dozen companies that comprise AS Roma.
The acquisition will likely be completed next week — almost four months after negotiations initially commenced in October.
Friedkin has been accompanied by his son, Ryan, over these last few weeks between London, Milano and Torino and the pair are currently in the Italian capital waiting for the green light to takeover Roma.
