Dan, Ryan Friedkin confront squad following drubbing by Napoli

Roma owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin, who officially took over the club in August, did not take the first loss of their tenure well.

Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo reports that the President and Vice President of the Giallorossi  confronted the players in the dressing room yesterday as the team returned to training following their 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Napoli.

The father-son duo were harsh in their assessment of Roma’s performance at the San Paolo and called upon the team to immediately give a reaction in Thursday’s Europa League match.

After being reprimanded by Friedkin, the players had a discussion about what went wrong as several of the team’s veterans, led by Pedro, reiterated that they must immediately get back on the track in their upcoming clashes against Young Boys and Sassuolo.
