Roma manager Daniele De Rossi spoke to the media in his post-match presser after the 2-2 draw with Napoli.
In his press conference, De Rossi was asked whether Roma will choose to focus on the Champions League race or on their Europa League campaign.
”I don’t make such choices,” said the Giallorossi boss. “I think we have some important players and an important squad. And I always tell my players that I think they are a strong team and I also say that we will often play against teams less strong than us.”
“Perhaps we’ll address this question again in a month and a half, because we will certainly rebuild the team also so as not to have to give up anything, which we are not doing anyway.”
“We are right there, to date there are 5 places to go to the Champions League and we are fifth, Atalanta is down by two points. We will try until the end, we have some difficult games lined up.”
“We will find the strength to finish the league in the best way and I’m sure this team is capable of it, I don’t think it’s the strongest team of all because sometimes there are teams that remind you how much quality there is in this league.”
