Roma manager Daniele De Rossi celebrated his first two months of coaching tenure with a 1-0 win over Sassuolo on Sunday night.
The Roma boss was asked about what areas the team can still improve on given their positive track record in recent weeks.
In his post-match press conference, De Rossi assessed the situation.
“We can improve in everything,” he said. “We can improve the recognizing the differences between games, between possession and construction, and continue pushing in the direction we’re headed in.”
“I like how the players are starting to recognize each other, but we have to try to turn possession into something more annoying for the opponents. We will work on the athletic aspect, we will recover some players like Chris and Renato.”
“Sometimes when you’re on a good run, the break can seem like it gets in the way of that, but for us it will be a positive – we need to catch our collective breath.”
“I don’t have decades of experience as a coach, but I have super available players and a club that has always supported me.”
