Roma manager Daniele De Rossi will soon meet with Florent Ghisolfi who is shortly expected to be announced the club’s new sporting director.

With the season winding to an end, De Rossi is said to have compiled a list of characteristics and positions Roma must address in the upcoming summer window.

The Italian technician recently stressed the need for pacy wingers, players like Gervinho who can give the team an edge simply through their speed.

Moreover, La Repubblica reports that De Rossi has also asked the club for a new box-to-box midfielder, someone like Radja Nainggolan from the past – a strong, physically dominant midfielder who can cover long distances and shoot the ball with precision.

In his recent post-match media appearance, De Rossi lamented Davide Frattesi’s departure from the Italian capital a few years ago as he deemed him the ideal fit for this position.
