De Rossi’s instructions during yesterday’s final training session prior to the big game on Thursday were of a manager who wants his team to take risks and not shy away from the moment.
The newspaper reports that De Rossi asked his team to be aggressive and play attacking football versus the team and manager who’ve inspired De Rossi to adopt the style he wishes to bring to Roma.
As a result, De Rossi is pondering the use of the 4-3-3 formation with El Shaarawy up top, which could eventually be switched to a more defensive 3-5-2 with Smalling in the backline in the second half.
